Turmeric Latte recipe (inspired by Kelly Brogan)
Boil one cup of water
At 1/2 cup of turmeric
Lower heat and stir.. it will turn into a paste
Turn off heat and stir in 1/4 cup of coconut oil..
Let cool, and add to a jar
Keep in fridge. And when craving it, throw a heaping tablespoon in your cup. Add boiled water, some almond milk and honey.
You can add cinnamon, pepper whatever you feel..
I love to blend in my Vitamix to make it extra frothy, but you certainly don't need a Vitamix to make it delicious.
Almond Milk Recipe
Take a cup air whatever you have of raw organic almonds and cover with filleted water.
Soak over night .
Rinse and gently peel the skins off (this allows you not to strain. If you prefer to strain, you can leave skins on).
Take almonds and add 4 cups of water
Blend in blender or Vitamix
Add a pinch of salt or a date if you like (I love mine plain....)
And put in fridge. It lasts about 4-5 days.
